How does the application process work for candidates?
- Easy to apply either via the job portal or by speculative application.
- Upon receipt of your application, you will receive a response with a request for authorisation to store your data.
- If you apply for an advertised position, we will review your application, contact you directly and forward your application to the company or invite you to an initial interview.
- If you have submitted an unsolicited application, your data will remain in our talent pool until your candidate profile matches an open vacancy.
- We support you in preparing for subsequent interviews and are on hand to advise you.
- After the interviews, we receive feedback from the company, which we forward to you immediately. In the best-case scenario, we can already send you a concrete contract offer.
- We are also the point of contact for candidates and companies during contract negotiations.
- You can find out more about the application process here.
What documents do I need to apply for a position?
- The most important element of your application is a current CV (curriculum vitae), which contains all the important data and, ideally, a photo of you. (Recommended for the DACH region). The CV should be in chronological order, starting with your current position and should be complete.
- Tip: If you have a current LinkedIn profile, you can also use it to apply.
- If you apply via the job portal, a cover letter is recommended, but not a must. If you see an interesting position, you can contact the person named in the advert in advance, who will usually be able to provide you with specific information about the position and the company. This will allow you to formulate your cover letter even more specifically.
- If you would like to include references, please organize them chronologically and bundle them into a single PDF file. If references are missing, please indicate this and give reasons for the absence.
- You should not send anything else, such as references or any specialized articles you may have published.
- Important: All documents should be sent as PDF files and not as Word files.
As a candidate, can I also send an unsolicited application to Xelentis?
Yes, of course you can also send us an unsolicited application. We will add your application documents to our applicant pool after you have agreed to the data storage. As soon as we have a mandate that matches your profile, we will contact you immediately and present the position to you.
Do you charge candidates for your services?
Our services are currently free of charge for candidates.
